About Mio Catering

Hi, I'm Jo. Home cooking has always been a huge part of my family. As a young girl I have very fond memories of being fussed over by my Lebanese grandmother, who instilled in me a love of cooking and gathering loved ones together.

Joanne Deitch Mio Catering

Today, as our lives get increasingly busier, it often seems that downtime spent with family and friends is what we sacrifice first.

What I bring to the table is ‘real food for small gatherings’ that will enhance any occasion, and bring people together to relax and enjoy quality time with one-another.

By real food, I mean wholesome, homemade food, thoughtfully prepared to ensure it satisfies the specific occasion and time of day it’s served. Your guests will leave with a full belly and a smile on their face!

Please take a look through the menu, I try to have options to suit everyone’s diverse tastes and preferences, but keep in mind that I’m happy to tailor it to meet your specific needs.  If you have a favourite childhood sweet treat, you’re trying to watch your waistline, or your Aunty Tilly is gluten intolerant, just let me know and I’ll do my absolute best to make it happen for you.

Prior to starting my catering business I worked in the wine industry for over 15 years, so if you would like some wine pairing suggestions for your event or just some fun local wine recommendations, I would be more than happy to help you with that too.

“I just wanted to say thank you so much Jo for the delicious catering you provided for our two day conference – at the last hour no less! You were an absolute delight to deal with – very accommodating, great communication and a friendly smile. The food was amazing, great variety and very well presented – not to mention the team could not stop raving! Will definitely be using you again in future.” -  Jas Murray
