Hi, I'm Jo. Cooking has always been a huge part of my family. As a young girl I have very fond memories of being fussed over by my Lebanese grandmother, who instilled in me a love of cooking and gathering loved ones together.

Today, as our lives get increasingly busier, it often seems that time spent with family and friends is what we sacrifice first.  This is why I get so much pleasure out of creating food that brings people together to enjoy some downtime, and delight in the simple pleasures of a shared meal and wine.

Prior to starting my catering business I worked in the wine industry for over 15 years, so when the opportunity arose to partner with Elephant Hill and create artisan platters to be enjoyed at their cellar door, it meant that I could embrace my passion for both food and wine.  I’m excited for people to visit Elephant Hill this summer to relax and savour the taste of Hawke’s Bay while taking in the breath taking views over the vineyard and Pacific Ocean.  I hope to see you there!
